Once you receive a paid license, all you need to do is enter that serial number where requested in the installed trial to make it valid again. As long as you do not uninstall LR, nothing changes except your ability to access LR.

Or is there anyway to install a second trial? I'm asking because I have 2 days left and we don't get paid until next week. So just confirming, if I let it expire for a few days before I buy it, all my adjustments and everything will still be there? Even Bridge shows its little icon in the corner to identify its still linked.Īs the others have said. The only thing was that when it launches asks for a serial number. My pictures are still there, in explorer, and the lightroom folders/pictures created are still there. When my initial trail ended, then, well, nothing happened. It has to be the most loved program out there. I probably picked a bad time to download the trial, busy getting daughter off to college sunday and a couple other things going on,so I haven't had as much time to play with it as I would have liked. Best money on photography i've ever spent. After using multiple point releases until they expired, I bought this about a year ago.
You just can run the program anymore without a valid license key. Luckily I do get it for the education price of $99. Tried the trial version with the belief that I wouldn't be buying it until around Christmas. On the last day of your trial you will get a message that says, "Purchase Lightroom by midnight tonight or your hard drive will be reformatted".ĭoes anyone actually know what happens? Has anyone actually ever got the end of the trail with handing over their credit card details like shivering crack head who's desperate for his next fix?
I gotta tell you, not having a end time hanging over my head is AWESOME Or at least that is what is going to happen to me in 8 days time! You have become adicted to Lightroom and you find yourself typing in your credit card details.
Your photos are still accessible even if you don't pay the money you just loose any adjustments that you have made unless you have exported the adjusted files to a new location on your hard drive. Pay the money, enter the licence key and you have full access again. I have images in the trial version lightroom, if I don't move them before the trial ends and I do not purchase at this time,will they just get deleted? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.
